Different Breeds of Sheep

Merino sheep are the best sheep for wool because their wool is super soft.

On Burrigan, Baden Park and Springdale all together there are 20,000 Merino sheep (for wool ) and 600 Dorper (for meat) in total.

You can cross breed sheep to get good meat as well as wool e.g. A Merino cross Dorper.

A new breed of sheep is called a Damara and it is from South Africa and is easy to care for and is great for meat.
